Ongoing wedding plans

Things are happening!  We bought a house and the school year ends for me this week.  The wedding planning took a little bit of a back seat for a while, but now we are ready to get back into it!

We have a special request when it comes to gift giving.  We prefer that our wedding guests give a donation to a charity rather than buy us a gift.  We are asking this because we already have lots of the stuff we need (and even too much stuff since we often already have doubles of things like dishware, etc).  We also know that most people will need to travel here for the wedding and given gas prices these days we know it won’t be cheap.  So, please just plan to come and be a special part of our day!

All that having been said, we have a few traditional guests who have expressed that they won’t feel comfortable without giving a gift.  For those people, we did register for a few things at Bed, Bath and Beyond and also Target.  We didn’t register for much, though, so please consider donating!

We are looking forward to celebrating with all our loved ones!  See you soon!!!
