Hello all.  I hope that your January has been going well.  We have been pretty busy this year so far.  We have done some furniture shopping (for a double reclining love seat) and also participated in some online puzzles and games (of the panda sort, I believe).  Things are good.  The weather has been quite cold and the geothermal heat has been keeping up fairly well.  We did need to use our (electric) auxiliary heat a few times so it will be interesting to note how that affects our electric bill for January.  For those of you who don’t already know, we saved $189 in November this year compared to last year (that’s our combined electric and gas bill savings from 2008 vs 2009).  We did not blog about our installation of our geothermal heating and cooling system but maybe we’ll write retroactively about our experience.  We learned a lot and we are glad that we did it.
