Wow.  Usually January is a hum-drum month with not much going on.  Well, we can report that this January has slightly more excitement than years past.  We had some snow and record cold (and two days off from school).  And now we have a visit from my parents.  They were travelling through from Dallas to Washington DC and then on to RI and they decided to spend a day in lovely Franklin TN.  I don’t know yet what we’ll do but the weather will be slightly warmer today so it should be pleasant.
